Cairanne is situated in the region of "Haut Vaucluse", near the papal enclave.
Our Grand Vin grows on clay and limestone soils and bring together syrah, grenache and mourvèdre grapes. The yield amounts to nearly 35hl/ha. The grapes vere very sane and harvested at full maturity. They were partially destemmed and vinified in temperature controlled tanks in order to preserve their aromatic potential. The wine was then aged partially in tanks and in old oak casks during 10 months.
A deep red colour encourages to taste. The very clear nose evokes red and black fruits with a hint of liquorice and olive. The palate is slightly tangy and becomes very round before ending on a spicy note.

91 Robert Parker Wine Advocate - The 2017 Cairanne Grand Vin - a blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre and 5% Carignan - was aged in a mix of stainless steel, concerte and old barrels. It's full-bodied and supple, with hints of thyme and rosemary accenting cherries and chocolate, and there's a long, silky finish.

This Cairanne matches particularly with veal's filet mignon in creamy sauce, and grilled beef. Choose creamy cow cheese.
