Our Côtes du Rhône Villages Grand Vin comes from vines planted on stony marl. It comes from a blend of Grenache and Syrah. The grapes were harvested at good maturity, and benefited from a long vatting (over 30 days) at controlled temperature. The wine was then matured partially in vats and barrels for about a year.
On the nose, there are aromas of garrigue, black olive, liquorice and pine. The palate, with a contained power, offers a slightly spicy finish.
Serving temperature: between 16 ° C and 18 ° C.

This 2020 reveals aromas of black cherry harmoniously combined with a well-integrated note of mocha. The mouth seduces by its flavors of cocoa and hazelnut, and by its richness, volume and balance.

"A rich, velvety offering, the 2017 Cotes du Rhone Villages Grand Vin is a 60-40 blend of Grenache and Syrah. Pretty hints of garrigue appear on the nose, matched by ripe cherries and cracked pepper. Medium to full bodied, it even adds some bold licorice notes on the lengthy finish."
In its early years, we advise you to open the bottle a few hours in advance or to decant it.
This wine will go perfectly with a leg of lamb, stuffed vegetables, and nice creamy cow cheeses.
