We have often been seduced by the Costières de Nîmes and have forged relationships with different cellars for many years.
The soils are clayey-sandy, limestone, covered with siliceous rolled pebbles.
The blend of our Costières de Nîmes is mainly made from Syrah and Grenache. The grapes were vinified at low temperature in stainless steel and concrete vats and macerated for three weeks. We decided not to age the wines in barrels in order to preserve their natural fruit.
This cuvée is round and fruity. The nose seduces with its notes of very ripe black and red fruits (raspberry). The palate begins with a full and coated attack, develops in the middle and ends with a fresh and fine finish.
Serve it at 16 ° C.
Keeping: for 4 to 5 years.
Our Costières is a southern wine. Southern because it has the richness of the wines of these regions: its spicy side allows it to enhance spicy dishes such as a tagine, a beef fillet with ginger or simple grilled meats. It also goes perfectly with a risotto with wild mushrooms.
