We wanted a white Côtes du Rhône that combines freshness and richness.
For this, we looked for vines planted on terroirs with little exposure to the sun and fairly high altitude. This cuvée is mainly made from a blend of Viognier and Grenache Blanc. An early harvest, vinification at low temperature and without oxidation… and this is our Vin Gourmand.
The straw yellow color precedes a particularly explosive nose which surprises with its breadth and clarity. The aromas multiply: apricot, vine peach, white flowers, exotic fruits. On the palate, the wine combines a fairly round and fleshy attack, with a very straight finish with the right amount of liveliness.
The aperitif is the favorite playground of Vin Gourmand blanc. It is rich enough to appeal to those unfamiliar with the appellation and lively enough not to suppress the appetite.
Serve it at 10 ° C
Keep between 3 and 4 years. That said, like many Côtes-du-Rhône whites, it is in their very early youth that you will appreciate it the most.

90 Andreas Larsson - Bright light golden colour. Intense, aromatic nose with floral notes, unctuous yellow fruit, honey and some wild herbs. Good density and volume with mild acidity, yet a fine extract adding freshness, crushed peach, sweet citrus and fennel with a warm and long finish.
Tasted, Andreas Larsson
Pair it with a trout with almonds, plancha-grilled fish, freshly seared scallops, a fresh gazpacho or a platter of fresh goat or sheep cheese.
