If the Vacqueyras appellation had only one side, it would be one of finesse. The wines are indeed characterized by a delicate structure which gives a thirst-quenching side to the wines.
"De Natura Rerum" is the title of a long poem by Lucretia "On the nature of things" which describes his vision of the constitution of the world, and emphasizes the force of life.
Most of the vines are planted on the garrigue plateau, a vast expanse covered with limestone pebbles glowing under the sun. The relative aridity of this land favors the concentration of berries.
The grapes were destemmed, then macerated for just under a month and, in order to preserve their fruit, we decided not to age the wine in barrels. The main grape variety is Grenache Noir.
The nose expresses aromas of black fruits, followed by notes of spices: cinnamon, white pepper, turmeric. The palate is extremely digestible and offers a light finish like a breath of spicy air.
