We selected vineyards that are situated on hillsides with calcareous stratum between 110 and 350 m. Syrah and Grenache grapes are in the majority.
The vinification was realized at low temperature in order to strengthen the natural fruitiness and aromas of the grapes. The colour and tannins were then extracted carefully paying particularly attention to the preservation of aromas. The wine was aged in tanks.
Syrah and Grenache grapes produce a dense color with violet glimmer. You are immediately charmed by the joyfully explosing aroma as soon as your nose is above the glass.
Black cherry, plum and red current harmonize perfectly. The nose keeps its promise showing a palate with the same aromas which are amplified and have a firm tannic structure. There is no acerbity, but an imposing acidity – the result is a light and very digestible wine.
Serve at 16°C.
This wine is really pleasant when it is young so we advise you to drink it during its youth. However, to keep it for 5 years will not be prejudicial in anyway.
